  Importance of composting
Composting is a way of adding nutrients to the soil of your garden. These nutrients help feed the vegetables as they are growing. It is a great way of saving money and eating healthier, also you won’t have to add toxic chemicals to your garden to fertilize it. Much of the produce we eat today doesn't have the rich nutrients that it once had. The over use of the land to meet the high demands of our culture eating habits has depleted our land of the minerals that our bodies need to live a fit and healthy life. With the growing demands on health care and all of the diseases of our culture, one of  the best way to fight this is eating healthy. And one way to be sure of eating healthy is growing your own food in good rich soil. Our health is one of the greatest things we need not to take for granted. Composting is also a great way to recycle and keep your garbage to a minimum .

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and
man became a living soul.

Concerning our Tumblers

They consist of a 55 gallon metal recycled drum. Holes are drilled into the tumbler to allow air to enter circulate from the outside working with the aeration system inside the center of the tumbler to accelerate the process of composting.  We have  painted them black to help extract heat from the sun. This along with the heat of the composting and its aeration system allows for composting in 3-4 weeks.  All you need to do  is to add the material and turn  the  tumbler only one time daily.  Upon completing empty into your wheel barrel and start a new batch.

How to Compost

There are a few ways to compost:
1.  You can pile up your material and let it sit there until it decomposes.  This will take a considerable amount of time.
2.  Or you can turn it with a pitch fork periodically.  This will lesson the time, but still will take a few month.
3. The quickest and easiest way, is to use one of our compost tumblers to compost your materials.
·
 Collect your compost material
·
 Mulch it up if possible
·
Fill tumbler 3/4th of the way up
·
 Turn tumbler once a day
In 3 to 4 weeks you have rich usable compost for your garden.
